This little guy was a little older for a newborn session and he required a tad more time to settle down. But once he finally nodded off to sleep he was such a sweet sleeper. His Great Auntie made the blanket and cap and Dad had a great idea to poke his little feet through the bottom. Love it!
I had the extreme pleasure of photographing my friend's little girl for her 3rd birthday. She is a cute little bug with a mind of her own and I had a fun time cajoling her into looking at the camera! Towards the end of the shoot we put her on top of a big boulder but she was so fearless that I didn't get one shot because I was constantly reaching out to try and catch her from falling!! Needless to say she was a delight and her momma better meet me for coffee soon...
There are too many from this session to put up! AP is a gorgeous and willing little model and she was so excited to run around Cheekwood gardens in her fairy costume. How perfect!
I had the chance to photograph this family again and it is always a good time! Twin boys plus a precious 6 month girl. I love getting to run around and be nutty with kids.
Of course right in the middle of the shoot this random stray dog decided it was his photoshoot. So now I was dealing with twin boys, a 6 month old and a DOG!! LOL Everything worked out magically but I just had to share some outtakes just in case you think every shot of mine is easy! (yeah right!) Enjoy!

Sometimes my favorite photos of the session are not necessarily of a happy, bright eyed perfect smiling child (or grown up for that matter- but you aren't allowed to throw tantrums!). I am amazed at the times I capture a wistful or contemplative look, a baby's downward gaze and outstretched hand as they feel grass for the fist time, and even the squinty eyed, pouty lip that says " I am so done!"

I love materinity sessions and I really love outdoor maternity sessions! So I was thrilled when Sara was willing to go outoors to show of her precious baby boy "under wraps". LOL We had a great time hamming it up and she is just beautiful and a real trooper too. We even glimpsed a snake near the creek! Ack!
I think I was more worried than she was. :) I'm not the most brave lady out there when it comes to slithering things! LOL
